Founded in 1915, Troop 6 is the oldest troop in the Great Smoky Mountain Council.
We meet each Tuesday night from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Scout Room at Second Presbyterian Church in Knoxville Tennessee.
Second Presbyterian Church has been the charter organization for Troop 6 for 99 of our 100 years. Second Presbyterian Church provides a meeting place, selects a charter representative, a scoutmaster, appoints a troop committee and approves all adult leaders.
With out the continued support of Second Presbyterian Church Troop 6 would not have survived for 100 years.
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
On my honor I will do my best. To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
